This week we are excited to introduce another key member of our Board — Mandy Koester!
A member of the Finance committee and HR committee, Mandy’s peers describe her as helpful, great at transitioning between multiple projects and superb at policy revisions.
“We are glad to have her at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana,” says Dana Wilson, Executive Director.
When Mandy isn’t working on BBBS projects, she is the Director of Operations at Heritage Federal Credit Union. Heritage Federal is a dedicated BBBS sponsor who supports many of our activities and endeavours. It is now surprise that she is a leader in such a wonderful business in our mentoring community!
Originally from Spencer County, Mandy attended the University of Southern Indiana and Anderson University and as a child wanted to be someone who carried a briefcase when she was older.
Now Mandy’s favorite thing to do when she isn’t hard at work for our Board and sub-committees is to travel. A passion she only expands on with her favorite quote, which has an unknown author.
“Life is short. Take the trip. Eat the cake. Buy the shoes.”
We’re forever grateful that Mandy decided to spend some of her life working with BBBS and can’t wait to see how she continues to have a positive impact on our operations and matches.
Our Board of Directors are some of the largest advocates and supporters of our organization. We are grateful for an engaged Board of Directors who are committed to our vision for all children to achieve success in life.
