Meet the Board: Aaron Wilzbacher

This week’s Board Member Spotlight is Aaron Wilzbacher. Aaron is a Certified Public Accountant, at Harding Shymanski & Co., which is the perfect match, considering he loves taxes! He loves being on our board because he honestly just feels that it is a great board, and that it collaborates on multiple issues. He also feels that it is rewarding to know that you as a board member are helping kids improve through their lives. These kids, Aaron says, are important because they are out future, and providing them with the support to grow is crucial to their success later in life.

Aaron is originally from Haubstadt, Indiana, and he graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. When he was ten years old, he remembers wanting to be a baseball player, which ties in well with his favorite quote: opportunity always involves some risk; you can’t steal second base and keep your foot on first. His favorite movie is Bad Boys, but he also enjoys the occasional viewing of Kung Fu Panda. When he’s not busy working, playing outside with the kiddos makes him happiest. Aaron may be self-described patient and mild-mannered, but he’s driven towards helping make a difference in the lives of these children.

Our Board of Directors are some of the largest advocates and supporters of our organization. We are grateful for an engaged Board of Directors who are committed to our vision for all children to achieve success in life.
