BBBS Hires Office Manager

Big Brothers Big Sisters is pleased to announce we have hired Lorin Pemberton as an office manager.


Lorin recently joined the staff in August 2023 as an office manager, and has lots of passion to bring to the table. Her job duties will include supporting donors and our Director of Marketing with database management, donor stewardship, and event coordination. She will manage the

day-to-day operations of the office and provide support for programs, accounting, and payroll, and coordinate HR activities.


She is originally from Newburgh, Indiana, and looks forward to working with BBBS because “I believe in the values and mission of the organization. I’m excited to work with a company and with people who live with purpose and devotion to helping others.”


Lorin can be described as kind, motherly, and happy. Growing up, she wanted to be a mom and a missionary to kids in orphanages. She says kids are important because young people can make a difference in the world now just as much as they will be able to in the future. She loves seeing kids help each other, encourage each other, and being kind.


“It has made me so happy and encouraged me so much to see kids being so kind and thoughtful toward their friends and peers,” says Lorin.

Her favorite quote is from Mother Teresa: “I can do things you cannot. You can do things I

cannot. Together we can do great things.” Her favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama and her favorite kids’ movies are Elf and Up. She loves everything about the Christmas holidays and traditions surrounding the day.
