Meet Big Sister Daryan and Little Brother DeMarius! Little Brother DeMarius recently found his love of running. He began by running outside with friends, but soon joined his school’s cross country team. Although his Big Sister Daryan wasn’t able to make it to any of his events this year, she found another way to support her Little Brother’s interests. These two just completed ANOTHER competitive run, the Turkey Day 5K. Daryan said that DeMarius is so much faster than she is, she encouraged him to run his best time, even if it meant leaving her behind with the rest of the pack. But Little Brother DeMarius has a huge heart, and after finishing his run, with an AMAZING time, he went back for his Big to make sure she was doing OK and to encourage her to keep going.
We have several amazing kids just waiting to be a part of a dynamic duo like DeMarious and his Big Sister Daryan.
