Big Sister Angie has been matched with Little Sister Diamond since November of 2013. Over the course of their match, the two have refurbished a dresser, learned to can food, visited parks, and ate lots of food at a variety of different places! The two have developed a special bond with one another and considered each other as family.
When asked what she admired most about her Little, Angie stated how beautiful Diamond is on the inside and out. Angie stated that “Diamond is very responsible for a sixteen-year-old and is always thinking about other people when a typical teenager doesn’t.” Diamond also admires Angie and stated, “she is my role model, someone I look up too, and can trust her with anything.” Diamond and Angie recently got together for her Junior Prom and went around Henderson taking pictures together and making new memories!
